The Reddit Version Of Twitter’s Fail Whale

I learned something today about one of my favorite social media sites, reddit. If you like to laugh, and if you haven’t visited reddit, I highly recommend it. The funniest most random stuff you’ve ever seen somehow always ends up on that site. However, just like veteran Twitter and Digg users, reddit users have a style all their own. I don’t participate much in the conversations yet since I’m still learning about the community, but I’m on that site almost everyday, and I tweet content from there often.

Earlier this month, Richard wrote an article about a new website called Star Wars Remix. It’s a site dedicated to everything Star Wars, and if you have an ordinary item in your daily life that is modded into something Star Wars, you can submit it for publishing. I keep saying I’m going to send in a picture of my one-of-a-kind Darth Vader helmet coffee pot, which I use everyday, but I haven’t done it yet.

Modern Look of Russian Matryoshka

Talanted Russian graphic designer Pavel Kulinsky created series of art posters for autumn-winter 2009 promo company of TsUM in Moscow. Matryoshkas (Russian nesting dolls) “Art Rocks” on these posters are stylized under well-known rock bands and rock artists. These art works will decorate the main shop of the Russia’s capital for the next few months.
